It has been some time since this blog has been used for anything other than apologies and troubleshooting, something that we would certainly like to change. The truth is we’re on the brink of a new chapter in OmmWriter’s story and are too excited to keep it a secret. We feel that it is time to share the love. The new version is coming along wonderfully and our offices have been filled with more calming imagery and soothing soundscapes than ever before. Expect a few new surprises but nothing out of line with the OmmWriter philosophy. Concerning the big boys, the iPads and Windows, lets just say we are all very excited and overwhelmed (a good sign). For now we just want to start showing you a little bit of what we have been working on.

Love the sounds. Very meditative. Let me also encourage you to look in iPad’s direction — yes, yes, yes! I’d use OmmWriter on the iPad in a heartbeat.
Beautiful work. Can’t wait for the new versions. Typing on the iPad is not comfortable at all – but I can see running OM on an iPad paired with a Bluetooth keyboard.
:O A Windows version? I know some people who will be very happy to hear that. (Although Ommwriter has been one of the reasons I’ve used to try to get those same people to switch to a Mac.)
I approve, I approve wholeheartedly of these new tracks. The ability to select your own music from iTunes would still be very nice to have though.

Hi – both pieces are really beautiful. I especially enjoy the soothing tones of the second track. Look forward to the next version of Ommwriter (but like Grillonic says – take your time – the version I have now is super and I very pleased with it!)

Windows version, pretty please soon. I was a reporter back in the days of Royal and Underwood typewriters and clunky teletypes, and I’d love to be writing to the sounds of an old keyboard again. And OW music. I even drool a little watching/listening to the demo of OW.
