WHAT MAC OS VERSIONS DO YOU SUPPORT?
Officially, OmmWriter Dana supports Mac OS 10.5.0 and higher. However, we highly recommend Mac OS 10.6 +. We would love to make OmmWriter available for all Macs but there are certain elements of the OmmWriter software that require a more advanced OS system.
DOES OMMWRITER DANA SUPPORT SPACES?
Yes.
WHAT ARE MY SAVING OPTIONS?
OmmWriter Dana gives you the option to save as basic .omm or .txt files for works in progress. In addition you can now also save in .rtf for opening in MS Word or other formatting software, and in .pdf for printing.
DOES OMMWRITER OFFER AUTOMATIC SPELL-CHECKING?
OmmWriter does not offer an in-built spell-checker. However, we have been told that you can enable the spell-checking feature of your Mac to work together with Ommwriter. How? Right click on the text box, choose "Spelling and Grammar >> Check Spelling While you Type". This will underline misspelled words, using your system settings language.
DOES OMMWRITER SUPPORT THE SHORT-CUT KEYS?
Apple Shortcut + S saves, Apple Shortcut + Q quits, Apple Shortcut + A selects all, Apple Shortcut + H hides OmmWriter, etc...
I AM SCARED OF LOSING MY WORK. IS THERE AN AUTO-BACK FACILITY?
We recommend you save your work frequently. OmmWriter incorporates an auto-save feature. In times of need, you can recover most of your work from "Library/OmmWriter/OmmWriterBackup.omm" where your existing file is saved every few minutes.
WHAT LANGUAGES DOES OMMWRITER SUPPORT?
OmmWriter Dana supports all of the languages that are supported by OSX.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OMMWRITER DANA II ON THE APP STORE AND THE VERSION ON THIS WEBSITE? AND HOW WILL UPDATES BE HANDLED FOR BOTH VERSIONS?

First of all, we would like to say that the version on the Mac App Store is exactly the same as the version you can purchase from this website, so if you have already purchased it here, there is no need to do so on the App Store.

As far as updates are concerned, each user will be notified through the appropriate channels. This means that if you purchased OmmWriter Dana II from the App Store, you will receive a notification just like any other application. If, however, you purchased OmmWriter from our website, we will inform you of updates via email. Because the channels are separate, it is not possible to integrate licenses from the website to the App Store, but we will make sure that each user receives word of when an update is available.
